ART THAT IMPARTS the love of God
ART THAT IMPARTS provides an avenue to impart the love of God in the making and selling of artwork. A significant percentage of all artwork profits are given to specific ministries and human service organizations that serve children in the foster care system, orphans, and those in need. The artist worked with children and youth in the foster care system for over 25 years and has a heart to support and advocate for their needs. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR PROJECT
The Love Your Neighbor Project was inspired by seven little neighborhood children in a small inner city neighborhood. Read about the project and let it challenge you to see the people around you - your neighbors - and to love them in a practical way. It doesn't necessarily take any skill or money - just a willingness to give of yourself. LOVE your neighbor. Click to continue to page. TIES Ties hold people together - family, friends, loved ones. WAITING PROJECT More than 3,000 children in Michigan are waiting for permanent loving homes each year. Waiting is difficult. The definition of waiting is "to be patient; to cause to hope; to be pained; stay; tarry; trust; to expect fully." To wait is painful, but it carries hope. It requires expectation and trust - which is often fractured and fragmented, but demands a response. The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) is statewide referral and information service that helps locate forever families for children in the foster care system in Michigan who are eligible and waiting for adoption. Children who desire to be adopted are photo listed on MARE's website with a brief description. Paintings of some of these youth are listed on the Waiting Project page. They are each truly special, incredible and resilient. And each has an incredible purpose. Click to continue to page. RESTORATIONBeauty for ashes and beauty in ashes.
